A week at Brigantia: Growth, recognition, and relentless ambition

27th June 2025
It’s been a week of milestones and moments of reflection here at Brigantia. With the onboarding of two new clients, each entrusting us with seven-figure investments, it has reinforced just how strong the demand is for transparent, capped fee-based financial advice in the expat market. It’s continually rewarding to see our model resonating so clearly. We stand firmly behind our refusal to engage in the commission-heavy and opaque product structures prevalent overseas, and it’s gratifying to witness how much clients appreciate this clarity and fairness.
Further highlighting Brigantia’s growing prominence, we've once again been invited to the prestigious Asia Pacific Investors Retreat 2025, held at the Capella Bangkok. Scheduled from 25 to 27 August, this event gathers pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices, and wealth management firms from across the region. It serves as a key platform for collaboration, networking, and the exchange of leading investment strategies and ideas. This invitation underscores our commitment to elevating standards and advocating best practices in wealth management.

Our recent partnership announcement with Wise complements this nicely, as it signals our ambition to keep broadening our reach and enhancing our offering. Partnerships like these reflect our dedication not only to innovation but also to making financial management more streamlined and accessible for expats.

On a more frustrating note, the week also served as a reminder that significant regulatory work remains overdue in the UK pension sector. Clients continue to encounter barriers, hoops, and endless paperwork simply to manage their own pension assets. This is something we at Brigantia will keep pushing to improve, not just for our clients but for the wider market as well.
Personally, it's been an intense week, having clocked up 35 kilometres on the road, capped off by completing my first-ever 10km run this Friday. The mindset of constant improvement that drives my personal ambitions is the same philosophy that fuels Brigantia’s growth. It can be exhausting, certainly, but it’s always worth it.

So, as I close this week, my focus is as clear as ever: scaling Brigantia and protecting more expats from the financial traps lurking in international markets. Whether it’s you or someone you know who could benefit from clear, capped, no-nonsense wealth management, the door’s always open.

Let’s have a straightforward chat and see how we can help.

Have a great weekend.
